Creating Discomfort

Deep into the dark days just after the Winter Solstice here, and finding it a good time to begin.

Writing is seen as such an intellectual thing, and I fall easily into the traps of admonishment and lecture, having been taught as a child to *snap* always have an answer. I want to change that in myself. I am an artist, after all... why not use words to paint with? (In that regard, have patience with me.) Thinking like a mountain is my lodestar, illustrating what's possible, much like Nature, showing me how it's done. There's a lot like that in me, waiting to come out.
